Course Description
Electrical protection is a critical component of modern power systems. Its main purpose is to detect abnormal operating conditions and quickly isolate faulty sections of the network. In large electrical systems, faults can occur at any time due to equipment failure, environmental factors, or operational errors. When these parameters exceed safe operating limits, protection devices initiate actions such as tripping circuit breakers to disconnect the affected part of the system.
