5. Course Enrollment and Access

5.2 Access Period
Unless otherwise stated:
- One-time purchase courses: Lifetime access (defined as the lifetime of the course on our platform)
- Subscription-based CPD access: Access for the duration of your active subscription
- We reserve the right to update, modify, or retire courses with reasonable notice
5.3 Sharing and Transfer
You may not:
- Share your account or course access with others
- Sell, transfer, or assign your course access
- Download, reproduce, or distribute course content (except where download features are explicitly provided)
6. Payments and Refunds
6.1 Pricing
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
6.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through our third-party payment processors. By making a purchase, you agree to their terms as well as these Terms.
6.3 Refund Policy
NPPE Preparation Courses: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, provided you have completed less than 25% of the course content. To request a refund, contact [email protected].
CPD Subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Refunds are not provided for partial months. Annual subscriptions: refunds prorated for unused months if cancelled within 30 days of renewal.
No Refunds After:
- 14 days from purchase date
- More than 25% of course completed
- Violation of these Terms
6.4 Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback without first requesting a refund under this policy, we may suspend your account and pursue collection of the original charge.

is owned by Wiscademy or our licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.
7.2 User Content
By posting comments, questions, or other content on our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our Services. You retain ownership of your original content.
7.3 Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
- Create derivative works based on our courses
- Use our content to create competing products
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users

9. Certification and Exam Preparation
9.1 No Guarantee of Exam Results
Wiscademy provides educational content to help you prepare for professional exams, including the NPPE. However, we do not guarantee that you will pass any exam, obtain licensure, or meet specific regulatory requirements. Your exam results depend on many factors beyond our control, including your own preparation, test-taking ability, and the specific exam version.
9.2 Regulatory Changes
While we strive to keep our content current with regulatory requirements, professional regulations change. You are responsible for verifying current requirements with your provincial engineering association.
9.3 CPD Accreditation
We indicate which courses count toward CPD requirements for specific provinces. However, final determination of CPD eligibility rests with your provincial association. We recommend verifying with your association before relying on our courses for compliance.

12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
IN NO EVENT SHALL WISCADEMY, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wiscademy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

- Your use of the Services
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your violation of applicable laws
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Services ceases immediately
- You remain responsible for any outstanding payments
- Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive

15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16.1 Informal Resolution

16.2 Binding Arbitration
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration under the rules of the ADR Institute of Canada. The arbitration shall be conducted in Toronto, Ontario.
16.3 Exceptions
Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect intellectual property rights or prevent unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
