Course Description
"Power cables are the backbone of electrical transmission and distribution networks. Unlike overhead lines, cables provide a protected, insulated path for electrical energy, allowing us to route electricity through urban areas, industrial zones, and underground pathways where overhead lines are impractical. They are engineered to withstand electrical stress, environmental factors such as moisture or chemical exposure, and mechanical stresses during installation and operation. The role of power cables becomes increasingly critical as demand for safe and reliable power delivery grows, particularly in densely populated or industrial regions."
