Course Description
Electricity is a form of energy resulting from the movement of electrons through a conductive material. At its most basic, an electric circuit is a closed loop that allows electrons to flow from a source, through a path, and back again. The three fundamental quantities in electricity are: voltage, measured in volts, which represents the electrical potential difference between two points; current, measured in amperes, which indicates the rate of flow of electric charge; and resistance, measured in ohms, which quantifies the opposition to current flow. Understanding these quantities and their relationships is crucial for designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
